Layer-by-Layer Breakdown

Surface Quarry (0-30m)

Every player starts here. Stone Ore and Iron Ore are abundant but generate minimal income. Use this layer to learn descent and grab mechanics before investing in weight upgrades. Sell all ores from this layer immediately - the cash funds your first upgrade to 50 kg for the Copper Caverns.

Copper Caverns (30-80m)

Your first meaningful depth layer, unlocked at 50 kg weight ($500 upgrade). Copper Ore becomes your primary income source alongside continued Iron Ore drops. Begin merging Copper duplicates and save cash for the 120 kg upgrade. Oxygen drain is minimal here.

Silver Depths (80-150m)

Reaching 120 kg weight opens the Silver Depths where Crystal Ore and Silver Ore appear. This is the early-mid game transition zone. Equip Silver Ore as your primary income source and begin hunting Crystal Ore for merge stacks. Moderate oxygen drain requires attention but is manageable without oxygen upgrades.

Platinum Tunnel (150-250m)

The 250 kg weight upgrade unlocks Platinum Ore - a solid B-tier income source. Increased fall speed in this layer means faster descents but less time to grab passing ores. Practice quick grab timing before pushing deeper.

Gold Vein (250-400m)

Gold Ore and Emerald Ore make this layer a major milestone. Reaching 450 kg weight is expensive ($50,000) but the A-tier ores here dramatically boost passive income. High oxygen consumption begins - consider oxygen upgrades alongside weight.

Emerald Abyss (400-600m)

PvP stealer encounters begin in this layer. Equip your best A-tier ores and activate base protection after descents. Ruby Ore starts appearing, making this layer critical for late-game progression. The 800 kg weight requirement costs $200,000.

Ruby Chasm (600-800m)

Extreme oxygen drain defines this layer. Ruby Ore spawns become reliable and Diamond Ore begins appearing at the lower boundary. You need 1,500 kg weight ($800,000) and should have max oxygen capacity before farming here regularly.

Diamond Core (800m+)

The ultimate depth layer requiring 3,000 kg max weight ($3,500,000). Diamond Ore spawns exclusively here with its legendary 1-in-7,594,737 rarity. Only fully upgraded players with S-tier collections should attempt regular farming at this depth.
